Since CSUSA has no stock of the Emperor pen kits except for the Rhodium and no intentions of restocking ... what are those of you that made the Emperors going to do for your kits in the immediate future? :frown:

Someone will pick up the slack I'm sure. Once CSUSA doesn't carry that kit, if they are still available from Rhizing then some other independent person will be able to take them on if they want to. Maybe Aaron will.

ummm... the emperor is only available in Rhodium. Always has been. The trim is either black ti or 22k gold, but the main portions were always Rhodium.

And They are from Dayacom, not Rhizing.

Mike ... Thanks for the update and correction on my original post.

These kits marked with the "X" are no longer available and from what I understand once the other kits are sold out they will not be restocked by CSUSA. Seems that the sales of these Emperor kits are not making it worth their time or funds to keep in stock.

Looking at the Dayacom site hows that 500 pieces are the required minimum order ... no wholesale prices are give to anyone not a vendor so I can only guess what these kits cost.

What we need is a vendor here already to get set up with them. Use them then for group buys on the kits we can not get elsewhere.

Yeah, it looks like CSUSA is going to just the main sellers which are the Gent and Statesman.

There are a couple vendors with relationships with Dayacom already. Aaron with LuaLua Woodworks and Lacewood (can't remember her name off the top of my head) in Canada come to mind. So hoepfully one of them (or others) will start importing them. But it is still a big endevor as 500 kits @ $30 (just an estimate) is $15k.

And I suspect the 500 kits is per plating. Multiply that by 4 when you have 2 different plating options in both rollerballs and fountain pens.

I would think there have to be vendors in other parts of the world. I've seen one from Australia, but I can't imagine they're the only other distributor of full size emperors other than CSUSA. Worse comes to worse, maybe they can be had from Australia since there isn't a US vendor. Shipping would obviously be more, but if you have a market for them, it would still be worth it.

I know it sounds like alot of money to lay out for 2000 emperor kits, but if a vendor in Australia already sells them, it couldn't hurt to add the US to his customer base. We'll see.

I would like a vendor to get pricing from them, I can not imagine that they are 30 a piece at cost, since they were sold for 39.99 retail.

if they are around 20 each at cost, then a group buy with vendor might be doable to get them..
