My second knife making project, another simple design using a manufactured blade and shaping the scales to match. Stabilized Elm Burl. No finish.

Very Nice! I have a couple of knives on my winter project list myself. Going to use whale bone or some kind of antler as they will be working kinves. I have yet to find a synthetic material as non slip as bone or antler.

Thanks everyone, I got the blade and sheath from Woodcraft. I replaced the aluminum pins with brass.

Very Nice! I've got one knife blank on hand that I got from Woodcrafters too. Maybe this winter I'll get to it.
