ebay, a new meaning to the word auto bids

well today a funny thing happened to me. i was looking at an item on ebay, then i came to check out iap. after about 30 mins or so i got an email saying i had bought the item. i was wondering if this has ever happend to anyone else, the item was only £4.80 so am not too worried.

Go directly to ebay.com, login, check the left column in 'my ebay' that lists what you've won. See if you really won it or if it's just a scam.

sounds like a scam. I have been getting a few emails saying I bought things or sold things and a dispute has been filed.
