Easy Ribbons

Has anyone tried spraying silicone on your glass and then pouring your ribbons? I did it today and I'm telling you it was a breeze cutting and removing them. Poured a single mold with ribbon and will know tomorrow if it will still stick.

Looking forward to the end results. I would be worried about the silicone contaminating the final pour.

Yeah John thats what I'm wondering about. If the silicone stuck to the ribbons. I did wipe down the glass really good but you know it was still hazy. I'll let you know tomorrow if it worked or not. Gonna try to break the seal between the ribbon and PR.

The silicone did not affect the ribbons. The pen turned out fine. Only thing is that I poured some more ribbons and it tried to separate on the glass. Have to work on that .
