E-mails to be an agent ?

I have gotten a few e-mail form companies to be there payment collection agent. usually from some company in chine, japan or other overseas country.
First I am fairly quick so I knwo this is a scam. What I do not know, and am dying of curiousity from. are the details of the scam. Are they trying to get personal information? trying to get you to be the patsy for fraudulent credit card charges? what?
anyone with any insight please relieve my aaaagooooonyyyyy!

I wouldn't waste my time wondering what they want. All I would be concerned with is hitting the 'delete' button as quickly as possible.

I tie them up with false info on one of my Gmail accounts. I figure the time they spend dealing with me is time that they will not scam some unsuspecting person... I had one going for about 3 weeks... then he looked up the address I gave him and was a federal building..[8D]

FDIC also likes to see these internet scams, I guess because at some point it involves a bank.
