If you can't find it here it probably ain't on the Internet.

Lots of information on everything about dust collecting. Be sure to have clean glasses as you will be reading a lot of articles, and lots of notepaper, and coffee or other favorite beverages.

Bill Pentz has designed and built efficient dust collection systems for years and shares his proven ideas and designs with the readers. He tells it like it is folks and doesn't hold back a thing.

Wow. That's a lot of information. Thanks, Fred. The whole dust thing is constantly on my mind while I'm in the garage. I've dealt with asthma my whole life (42 now) and I worry about being 70+ and having to drag an oxygen unit around with me because of dust other particles.

I'll say that before anyone adds that link to their personal/business web site, you need to read the section on copyright that he provides.

Yeah, I'm still planning on getting one of their Mini CV06 models. As inexpensive as it is I still have to budget things(that is hide under a loose floorboard) for the hobby in $10 increments.

That sight is the best place I know of to really get information on dust collection. the details about the cyclone are all important. including the way the air is directed into it.
I researched actually building my own and don't expect to save any money. I finally went with a ready made model that came close and will in time modify it to have the other features. as it is now I do not breath dust but my system can be made better.
