That might be the biggest burl I've ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's a beauty, alright, but this is supposedly the world's largest burl. It's in Port McNeil, British Columbia, Canada.

Yah once the burl surounds the entire trunk it will kill the tree.

There was a picture on penturning forum a few months back of a tree in central Texas that a lady was giving away for some one to cut the tree down, I think the burl was about 12 ft in diameter, I thought Dario was going to whack it down. Could you imagine what it would look like if it were Pecan?? [][][][][][][]

Sadly I wasn't on either of those bikes. I just saw that on one of my riding forums and thought (most) of you would get a kick out of the burl. Glad someone else liked the bikes too.

One of my friend is trying to sell me 4ft. or 5 ft. in diameter maple burl for $40. There's no rotting spots. The whole thing is hard. And I thought that was big.[8]
