I was on my motorcycle a couple of years ago and stopped at West Penn Hardwoods in Olean, NY. They had a bunch of HUGE waterfall bubinga slabs... thick, wide, and long... all laid out in the parking lot. They were getting ready to load them on a guy from NJ's pickup truck.

The wood was just spectacular and the sight of so much all laid out nicely on the ground was memorable. I might have some PIX on a storage drive. I will have to look and see. I think you might get a kick out of it.

BTW... the guy spent about $32,000 on the bubinga. I guess he makes music boxes from it.
