Double Dyed Poplar

Just a quick cell phone photo of a pen with a blank I made. It's Spalted Tulip Poplar stabilized and double-dyed green & purple.

Very nice blank. Colors are going together very naturally. What is double dying technique did you use?

Stepan, I used Cactus Juice and Alumilite Dye for this. First soaked the wood with about half of it submerged and then cured it. For the second color, I ran full vacuum, soaked and then cured.
