Here are a few others.

The square blank is maple burl and as you can see the colors bled more and turned mostly purple. Nothing wrong with that, just not what I was going for.

The two round ones looked better before sanding. It showed more blue. However, once I sanded it ended up like this. I tried cleaning with denatured alcohol but it didn't help, probably made it worse.






I've got a small batch of orange and black under vacuum now. I'm hoping for good results!
