I got tired of trying to mix in some of the Artstuf color pigments that stay chunky and bubbly in PR, no matter how much you grind/stir them.
I tried using some acetone to pre-mix the colorants, and tried to keep the acetone to a bare minimum.
The first batch I cast (in a 4X6 mold) kicked over quickly as usual, I'm sure partly b/c it was bigger and generated heat quicker.
The second batch, in 3/4 PVC tubes, did not. I'm even using gel promoter, and here an hour after mixing it all, they haven't set, and are only barely thickened.
I'm not sure what I did different from the first to the second batch other than the size of the mold. We'll see tomorrow morning when I get to the shop if they kicked over and hardened. I pressurized them and disconnected the air hose (to keep from running the compressor if the pot leaks), hopefully it will hold pressure long enough for them to harden.
