Dog Pen - German Shepherd's Head

Made this for my granddaughter's "graduation" present. . I know she will be thrilled with it ... she LOVES dogs.
She's moving from Intermediate to High School. . Not really graduating but they have a Covid-style ceremony anyhow.

The pen kit is the PSI Dog Pen Kit in Antique Brass.
The blank is from Kallenshaan Woods, a wood inlay kit that I put together from pieces ... an OUTSTANDING product, IMO.

The finish is thin CA ... about 20 coats ... carefully sanded through 180 - 2000 grit and then polished with Novus polishes.

Please excuse photography (not my specialty !) . Also please excuse possible duplication of pics. . Am in a bit of a hurry as I have to gift the pen in 5 minutes.

Just an experiment with rotating the pics to vertical to see if that improves the presentation a little . . I think this is better, in fact.
You can click through the pics fairly rapidly and get the impression similar to rotating the pen in your hand.
