I have read several threads from different forums about resinol 90c but have not seen the answer to this (I could have missed it somewhere). Some stabilizers list their process as "resin stabilizing" or "acrylic stabilizing". Is this what resinol does, or does it just harden the wood fibers?

Resinol 90C is a catalyzed thermo-set plastic that when cured has a hardness of 76 on the shore D scale.

IMHO it is the standard by which other stabilizing mediums are compared.
