My first thought after reading the title was a Smart A$$, YES!!!

But then I thought about Rob and the number of his posts in such a short period of time.......

Ouch that was harsh, true but harsh nonetheless.:mad::biggrin:

I am only averaging 9 posts a day but keep in mind I have no life at all.
 
Less than 3 a day is not over posting, besides your posts have substance to them. What I can't figure out is why some people just try build their post count by trying to post in every thread with things like nice,very nice, looks good, ect. Thats the people that might need to get a life,I think you already have one. Before anybody thinks I am bad mouthing anyone I'm not I am just giving my opinion for what little it is worth. Keep posting ,I'll keep reading. Come to think of it maybe I'm the one who needs to get a life since I'm on here just about every morning reading all the new posts when I should be out doing something productive.

You have a lovely wife, faithful dog, nice house, food to eat, you're retired, got a nice big shop in the back yard for a hobby you enjoy and for which you're very talented. I'd say you've got a great life.

WOW Roy, I am actually a bit shocked you have gotten that many posts. That is not an insult since I do see yoru comments regularly, But I don't see tons of posts from you. so I was really a little bit like wow, we been around that long. sort of one of those moments that you can look back with a little more clarity at where this group has been. I will also say that is a lot of posts considering the quality of the comments you do have to share.
Ever wonder how many hours are invested in making that many posts? Thanks for every minute of them.

I guess it's better then seeing someones hard work sit all day long with 150 views and no comments. Would you rather see that???? I would rather see "Very nice" then nothing at all. I for one acknowledge people's hard work and effort. I don't just look at the pictures and ignore them like some people.:eek:
 
I would post alot more but all I get to do is work and sometimes get to the shop...wife likes when i work for her paycheck

As I said ,I was not refering to anybody in particular just stating an opinion. I am one of those people that is guilty of just enjoying the pictures and not commenting unless it really just blows me away. I would probably post more if I knew how to type without using the hunt and peck method. I agree no one wants to post a picture and have no responce. I personally would prefer someone pointing out something I could improve on it or telling me what they liked rather than just nice or looks good. I realize I am probably not the right one to be giving this opinion since I don't know enough about computers to post pictures myself. I am just bad about saying exactly how I feel on a subject. I must say I am sorry for hyjacking Roys thread and I am sorry if I hurt anyones feelings. Unless I can make useful contributions like Roy does I will try to keep my opinions to myself.

You don't need to keep your opinions/comments to yourself but you also shouldn't expect to make a comment and not get a response. I am also guilty of the "Nice job" kind of posts but I do it for the reson already stated. I am not trying to pad my post count. I am simply trying to acknowledge someone's work.

:)But back to this thread... 4000 post! That's great and thanks for contributing so much and helping everyone out.:)

Yep, you can tell those of us who keep our posts short and sweet and don't post a lot... I only average 2.71 per day.

I was gonna chime in with something similar to Bob's post but figured you already realize you're still stuck in Oklahoma so why rub it in! :biggrin:

Post away, I don't care if you average 10 per day, it's good reading, keep it up!
 
Thanks for making me feel that maybe I have contributed something to this great forum . Freddie next year I'll try to hold back on the Gator post.........Na! won't happen. Cav talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
I really can't think of any other place I would rather spend a portion of each day, now onto my next 4000 post........
