Diamond Cast Apollo

Finally got back to turning. Made the Apollo kit from Bullseye Turning, Kate Harrow, using McKenzie Diamond Cast

Hi Timbo. That is a really cool pen. I really like those DiamondCast blanks. The blue accents on the ends really set it off. I haven't tried any of Kate's kits yet, but I sure have been tempted a lot of times. I think it is because I have a hard time getting past not having a clip.

I've been on a long hiatus from turning pens myself and have been spending all of my allowance on upgrading my homebrew equipment. I did turn a new set of tap handles out of Black Walnut a few weeks ago though.

Thanks Dave. I tried some clips I got from Amazon. I am still not sure if I like them.
