DHL Praise

Remember the movie Cast Away. When Tom Hanks went to Russia to get the Fed Ex guys moving, got to get the parcels on the airplane so it gets to the USA by a certain time. Well DHL have just done that with me, I ordered a collet set from a city near Hong Kong.
They picked up the shipment on the day of the 01-05-2010 it went to Cinn, Oh then to Seattle and then to Richmond, BC, Ca and finally on my door step in Prince George BC on 01-08-2010 by 10:00 am. All I can say is WOW.

When you think of the logistics it's almost impossible, but then there is 8 or 9 hours diff in there too but even so, 3 days. ($15.00)

All the shipments I get by DHL come in that way. The last order I recieved from China was shipped on a friday and I recieved them by 9:30 on monday. Some of the other companies could take lessons from them.

Everyone is cutting back these days. DHL has closed 3 plants in my province..

I think DHL was bought by the German Post... internationally they were always great.. I only used them for documents, but worked great... in spite of of everyone saying the acronym stood for " Documents Hopelessly Lost " or in the US "Huey, Dewey, and Louie"
