This pen is a quick pick and looks like heck and is from the burl on the ironwood I just got. The blanks are all I could salvage from the burl it was mostly sapwood and what i got is nice I think. The blank on the top in pic 2 is actually from a short limb I cut off and I like how the heartwood just grows where it wants to. It is a Sierra with a CA Finish.
