Chris Kodya, aka lostlugnut, is being deployed to Afghanistan next week, for 7 months, we all need to wish him well and thank him for what he does for us.

He and his wife came over this afternoon to return a DVD he had borrowed and he brought me some Endura (sp) to try, plus a good size sheet of corian (sp), about 2 ft by 2 ft. Had a nice visit and enjoyed meeting his wife who is also learning to turn

Chris
Good luck be safe. Thank you so much for your sacrifice so that we Americans can be free. Very proud of you and all of our service personnel. My prays are with you and your family.

Chris,
Thank you for your selflessness - it is appreciated more than words can express. My family and I are forever in your debt, as we are all of our country's veterans. I wish you a safe and successful tour of duty! Let us know if you have any turnin' time over there - I'm sure we can put together a care package or two.

good luck over there Chris.
I have friends over there at this time.
They have been over there for about 4 months now and won't return to the states for another 6 months.
They say its not as bad as iraq but its still war over there.
keep your head down and come back safe with all body parts intact.
hoorah.

Chris - Thank you for what you are doing and please return safe. If your wife needs anything, please have her or James post to this forum and we will be sure to help.

Not to divert the thread but if there are any other service men and women monitoring this forum either deployed or being deployed with family in need, please post a request to the forum and we will see what we can do to help.

Chris, my prayer is that God will place His hand of protection around you as you go into the unknown, that He will keep you close to your wife during this time of separation. Thank you for your service to our nation, when you have a need let us know. Goes for the Mrs. also.

Thanks for letting us know, James!

Chris, I can only echo Al and say Godspeed! And like others, we wish to thank you for your service and sacrifice! You and yours will remain in our prayers.

Thanks for the heads up James.

Chris, thank you for serving this great country we live in. May God be with you during your tour of duty.

Chris, Thanks to you and your wife for your sacrifice for our country, I pray that God will protect you and all our servicemen and women and bring everyone home safe and sound.

Chris, I believe the service our men and women (and families) in uniform provide is truly the lifeblood of our country. Please stay safe and Bless you and yours.

My wife and I would like to thank everyone for their prayers and best wishes. I am due to leave shortly and will most likely to be offline for some time. When I get back it will take a month of Sundays to catch up on what has all gone on around here. Turning pens has turned into a form of therapy after a long day at work. Not cheaper then a shrink but I have something at the end to show for the time spent[:D]. Sometimes[:p]. And for those who advised to keep my head down, I am telling everyone that I am planning on coming back with the same number of holes I left with.

Once again thanks for everything.
Chris
