Decal Casting help

I am new to casting and want to try decal casting. What I would like to know is do you wrap the decal around the tube like in label casting and then pour around it or do you cast the color you want in a blank and then apply the decal and CA over it?

I really need the help thanks guys

Option 2 allows for failure without having to throw the whole thing out.

Fred, You are better off trying to cast labels vice decals. All you do is print them out on an inkjet printer on full sheet label paper (at Office Depot or Staples) and then wrap that around the tube and cast in clear resin. Pretty easy to do.....I quit doing decals a long time ago in favor of labels...
