I was contacted by a customer about buying a part for this pen.

http://ny-image2.etsy.com/il_fullxfull.61955194.jpg

He received it as a gift and doesn't know where it came from. He says he lost the finial end of the main body and I don't have any parts for this kit that I can send to him.

If any of you reconize this pen or you are the artist, please contact me.

Or, any of you have the part he needs for fix his pen, let me know, also.

Thanks Much.

Thanks guys, I was more looking for the artist that made the pen. I knew what the kit was, and I have several in my inventory, just no parts.

Someone is bound to have a cap. THX

Steve,

How good a customer is he? It might be a decent investment to help a good customer.

Cav,
He is a random person that just happened to find my website. He isn't asking for a free part, in fact he is insisting on paying for it. I suppose I could pull the piece out of one of my kits and make him happy. Probably would gain a customer or customers out of the deal. Maybe I'll just do that and make a closed end Jr. Statesman.:biggrin:

You could also get away with using a Jr. Gent end, they are the same thing and the kits are a lot cheaper.

They (Jr Gent and Jr. States) are the same size, but the Statesman version has more decoration. Doesn't matter to the operation, but may matter to the customer.

Of course, if he can LOSE the end, maybe he should have bought the more economical version, in the first place!!!

It was a gift and he just loves the pen. I'm sure he is going to want the upgraded version. And maybe I can sell him the finished closed end version for lots of cash.:biggrin:

GIVE HIM THE PART ASAP!! I had a fellow contact me through my website saying that he had a cactus pen that he got from me at a show. He said the plating was wearing off and wanted to know where to get the replacement parts. Well, I have never done a show so it could not have been a pen made by me but since he did not know the original maker, I decided to offer to change out the parts for him just for the cost of a kit. He was so pleased that this turned into a $6k order for 30 Jr. Statesmen with laser engraved mesquite boxes for him to give for corporate gifts!
