I need to remount and do the bottom. The problem is I'm running out of room.

Gorgeous wood blanks you have. I wish I could get the results you do with your polish.
Very nice piece of art.
I'm a bit jealous as what i mostly have is Elm, Ash and Hickory. Very little figure in those species.

I don't think it is really that difficult. Sanding can be the pain. I go up to 1200 grit. But once you get past 220... it goes pretty quick. This its just a matter of wiping on and heating it up.

All of those can be pretty. I think that most the Hickory I've got now, I will do the Irredesent painted rim.
