Hello All:

I am trying to make a pen for my brother's retirement. Anyway, I have make some decals with pics of a '78 Blazer and a '12 crew cab pick-up (the trucks they were making when he started and ended). I'm painting the tubes in Victory Red and going to apply the decals over the paint and case in PR.

The problem is the decals are curling so bad, once released from the paper. I can not get the curl out. I read to put more coats of the fixer on, but I did four coats and they curled.

Any help?

Thanks in advance,

Steve

If you are using water slide decals then you do not need to cast in the PR. Make the pen, apply the decal and finish with CA.

If you are doing labels, that is another story and I'll let someone else address that issue.

I put mine in water for about 10 seconds then on a paper towel for a short time. I had your problem, too much time in the water caused mine to curl.
