Just a quick heads up for the folks outside USA.
CSUSA have a new computer system and at the moment the only option for us on shipping is UPS. I was quoted $80 for shipping only ten pens!!!

I normally just keep pressing 'OK' till the deal is done and may not have noticed till it was too late.

CSUSA have told me that they are working on the problem and will hold my order till then. Just as well I didn't need it in a rush. But then I could have ask one of my buddies here to re-ship so no biggie:biggrin:

One of my big headaches with ordering from them. They only ship UPS or USPS Priority to SA. Priority never arrives and UPS is just tooooooo expensive. Last quote was $320 for a 14 pound package containing $170 worth of kits.

Wish they will consider shipping USPS Express Mail International....

Mike there are several good people here that frequently offer to re-ship for us. I never like to impose but I reckon I'm gonna have to start accepting these kind offers.:redface::biggrin:

CSUSA shipped a package to me a month or so ago - maybe a bit longer -via USPS, so this must be a new hiccup in their electronic system...hopefully they get it resolved soon.

Last time I ordered form the I had to email them to ask for USPS mail, as they only allowed UPS at $75!

Got USPS for $18, now they seem to email me every time I order to check haha!

Hi Skippy,
I ordered from them a couple of weeks ago and was surprised at the postage costs. My order was for $500 but they emailed me straight back and offered a big discount on the postage. This took it back to the past expected rates!!! They are working on the system right now.

I sometimes use UPS as they insure each package, so if it is a large order from CSUSA I will pay the extra plus it is delivered in approx 3 days. Then when the driver knocks on your door he wants paid for VAT, handling fees etc that the high postage doesn`t cover.

They have always been top notch for service and this time was no exception.
They contacted me again to let me know the stuff was on it's way and they had amended the bill so the shipping went from $80 to $10.:biggrin:

But I agree with you Mark, the VAT and customs tax and handling fees can be a killer. That's why I keep my orders under the tax threshold.
