Critique and knowledge please

My first attempt at adding an accent band. Red and black Krinitite. M13x.0.8T, M10x1.0 for the section. Made the accent on the lathe (no band saw). Insights are welcomed. Thanks

Not bad at all. I would say the final on the cap might look better with a contrasting ring between it and the body of the cap. I don't own a bandsaw so I can appreciate the work that goes into doing it all on a lathe. I also like how the cap can be posted without having threads on the body of the pen.
