I don't know why but it seems that affordable pen cases are hard to find nowadays. I had this idea of making one with copper tubing and insulating foam material.
Its chunky, heavy and says made in italy..its also bombproof :) cheers

Great idea. 👍🏻Would look good with a steampunk pen.
However not very economical in my area after accounting for the cost of the 4 brass fittings and 2 brass caps.
my first thought was a steampunk case, however i flirt with the idea of enclosing it with wood just like a big pen tube... we ll see what happens.

i don't think brass is that expensive, i mean i bought a tube cutter and the guy gave me these fittings for free

Don't know what brass fittings cost in Greece, but in the hardware store where I work, 1 brass fitting can cost between $2 and $6 a piece depending on what it is and what size.
