Help Help my computer has gone haywire

Every thing is big and I have to scroll over to read everything. No matter what site I'm on the page won't fit on my screen like it use to. I have been fiddling with this thing ALL day. I'm going to bed but if anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears and willing to try anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it just in EI? If so go to the drop down menue under View then text size an then try say Med. If the icons on the desktop are also different size then I can post something else to try.

Nolan, it's everything[V] I use Firefox and I thought that's what it might have been. I removed Firefox twice and downloaded it again, didn't work. Even the appearance of all my sites has changed, I mean there are no lines separating questions anymore????????

I spent all day yesterday messing in <u>control panel</u> fiddling with <u>appearance, themes, display</u>, you name it I was doing it.

It's making me nuts!!!!!!

BTW, The only thing I did different yesterday was print out a PDF email thru adobe.

Check your monitor properties. Right click on yer desktop, select properties, then select the Settings tab, then double check your screen resolution. Perhaps someone modified it on ya.

I think Gary's got the right idea. Your screen resolution should be 1024x768 or even higher depending on the size of your monitor.

OMG, it worked........don't feel like I'm looking thru a mgnifying glass anymore. Thank you, thank you, thank you[][][][][]

One more problem and maybe someone can help. Everything is the right size (thank you) but the appearance of this site has changed. There are no lines separating things like the people who post a comment. The names are just on the left side of my monitor hanging in space across from their comment. When I bring up a member profile there are no boxes, all the text is just in space. Also when I use the drop down options at the top instead of a window, it drops on top of the words already there and you see both. Very weird!

I wonder if you managed to turn on one of the "Disability assist" tools in windows? Unfortunately I don't run winbloze anymore so don't know how to tell you to check it. There is/was a control panel for those features in the past but I don't recall what it was called.

Thanks again for all your help people. I finally went in and did a "System Restore", it fixed the problems. I'm back in business, thanks goodness[]
