Please excuse my ignorance about casting PR. I am just now preparing to get started on casting some of my own blanks and I have what might turn out to be a stupid question. I was sitting in my office on a conference call this morning when I noticed the Cyan colored laser printer cartridge that I changed the other day. It still has a bit of toner in it, but I was printing a large job and I didn't want the color to fade on the print project. I suspect that most of the color laser cartridges get changed before they are completely empty.

My question is this, has anyone ever used toner to color PR for casting? I know that laser printers use heat as part of the printing process, but the Cyan color was looking so pretty just sitting there begging me to ask this question. Your thoughts...

toner is a powder right? If so, I'd say, give it a shot. You may be the first to try it...
I'm just wondering what that conference call was about to be so boring that you thought of that idea instead of listening!

I'm sure anyone who sits in a cube all day and takes many a conference call can tell you that he wasn't not paying attention- he was Multi-tasking!
