Too cold in shop to get out, even in south GA. Not used to this cold weather. I need a heater. Anyone else cold? Must be global warming?

No I think it's global freezing, we haven't been above freezing for 10 days, , it's supposed to drop to 0 Friday night, Water mains broken all over Memphis, and it's about 8 to 10 degrees warmer there, and snow tonight, woopee!! weather dufuf says we might hit 40 middle of next week. If we do I think I'll go skinny dipping in the town fountain (IF IT THAWS OUT BY THEN)

We're told that by 5 this afternoon wind chill down to 5 and by saturday 20 below wind chill and temps 2-0 degrees.

Possible snow in New Orleans

They are talking about snow here in New Orleans. GREAT! people here cannot drive in the rain. You talk about black-ice, and they want to know what drink it goes in:confused:

Well it was a balmy 36F at my house when I left this morning at 6:15. They're telling us Houston is in for the coldest temps in 14 years. By tomorrow some areas north and west will not get above freezing for 48-60 hours.....temp to be around 19F.
Now I know that's warm to a lot of you, but down here, I don't think we have had a slight freeze in the past 2 years.

Larry were you down there in 70 I think it was?, "the year of the killer snow flake"it's the same way here, they think 4 wheel drive will stop faster, DUH!!!

It's not just in your neck of the woods. It's a general concensus that retards who drive a 4x4 will be the first ones into wrecks. Usually it's soccer moms in their SUV's who think their invincible.

Sad to say, but I smile a little bit every time one blows past me on the snow and ice doing over the speed limit, and hope that a mile up the road I come upon them in a ditch, unhurt, but needing a change of underwear.

No, I didn't live here then. If we get about 1/2" of snow, they almost shut the city down. They park police cars across the overpasses to keep the people from driving over them. Businesses in the CBD close.

We had frost here. I had to scrape the ice off my car windows this morning. Usually the only ice here is in the drinks...

It is kind of funny if they don't get hurt, they drive like Idiots all over, when I lived in New Mexico there would be 4x4s off all along I-40 and I-25, and we got quite a bit of snow, usually 3 or 4 good ones a year.

The powers that be have changed global warming to climate change because they don't know what is going on any more than the average person does, but they need more money to set on their collective butts and write more guesses.

well it's a nice 70 degrees here. I'm opposite everybody. summer is when I can't go in the shop. hits aroun 115

At 6:00am this morning it was 36°F. It is now 8:30am and the temp is 25°. Here comes the front. Buy evening we will be in the teens and below zero overnight. That's not to bad until you add the wind. Even a little breeze makes it nasty cold!

There was frost on the front lawn this morning and temp. was below 30 degrees overnite.
Probably only in 50's today. This is not suppose to happen in Sunny St. Cloud, Fla.

You guy's don't know what cold is, got up this morning and it was - 29 deg C. and my friends 150 miles north or getting to the -30's and -40's. So I'll take your cold anytime, even + 10 F would be nice.
