I cast coffee beans in alumilite and had no problems except the beans rose to the top. How do I keep them floating? Or is that where pressure comes into play? Hope not.. LOL

This method works for me.

Yep. I do something similar. I fill the mold full of beans. I then fill it with catalized resin. After the resin is poured, I place some wax paper over the mold and put a piece of plywood or other flat material to hold down the beans. This will likely cause some spillage as your beans get pushed back down into your resin but it works for me.

Just hold them down with something.......But make it with something that will not stick too bad to the resin when cured......
