Coffee Bean and Black Palm

My wife is avid coffee drinker, so I decided to try my hand at a coffee bean blank. I thought a Black Palm blank I had would be a good match. I've never turned either of these before. Both turned out to be quite a challenge, but CA glue stabilization and a light touch won out in the end. Finished with 10+ coats of medium CA then MM'd and polish. I decided on an 8mm Euro style pen design because I prefer Parker-style refills (read "easyFlow 9000") much more than any Cross-style refill I've tried. I gave it to my wife on Valentine's Day.

Cool mixture. Not always a fan of combining different tops and bottoms, but this one works.
