Well you confirmed my suspension. I've, literally, got acres and acres of Quaking Aspen on my property in the Rocky's. Very wet when first cut but builds a wonderful fire when dry. I'll have to see what I can use it for other than firewood.
Yes sir, great but low heat firewood, but it also makes a fantastic fireplace mantel, or bottle stoppers, despite what most folks think of Aspen its not just firewood, it makes for a beautiful wall or ceiling just like knotty pine does, very easy to make one by on my little sawmill.
