I made a Sierra Button Click Pen this weekend. This will become my personal everyday pen. The pen has a nice balance, and looks better than the pictures I had seen on the web.

The pen feels lighter and has a better balance than the original Sierra. By taking out the twist mechanism it really lightens up the pen. Also, the pen uses a nib bushing that is pushed into the tube, and the nib screws into the bushing. The tube is about a quarter of a inch longer than the original Sierra.

At work when I need to use a pen, I usually have something in my left hand, and it is a real pain to open a twist pen one handed. This is where a click pen shines.

I will use it at work and see how it stands up to daily use.

I only bought two kits, as the pictures kind of turned me off initially.

Has anybody else tried this pen?

I made some of the first ones for BB as a sample and I think they are going to be a good seller for me.

Here is the last one I made for BB

Thanks anyway for the info.[:)]

William woodrite (Canadian pen distributor) carries the Sierra line and I know that he gladly ships to the UK. Contact him direct and if you need a link to his website let me know and I'll try to help.

Any Berea reseller can get these pens. I believe they have a reseller in France and Germany. On this side of the pond we have Bear Tooth Woods and Arizona Silhouette, Wood Craft, Rockler, and Hut Products. There probably are others as well.

derek, i am in contact with dave at turners retreat to stock these and other berea/arizona kits. he is negotiating as we speak.

Doug - I just made my first and I love it. A click pen is a must for me at work and this is by far the best I have found. I also only bought two, but will be ordering more tomorrow. Now they just need to offer them with the combination plating like the other Sierra's.
