does anyone have a source for clear plastic cases, exactly like the ones they sell at CSUSA (for bottle stoppers), only bigger? like 2.5 x 2.5 x 4.5 -ish? i need a way to box up my shaving brushes and the CSUSA ones would be perfect, just too small.

any info leading to some bigger ones would be appreciated!

david, good call on the container store. there's a store in denver and it looks like they've got exactly what i need... thanks!
 
If there is a Hobby Lobby nearby, you might have a look. Last time I was there, they had dozens of sizes from bottle stopper size to ones large enough to display a baseball.

No problem, we have a company softball team and give awards at the end of the season. We have gone to the container store for various sized clear display boxes (I made mini bats last year). I figured they would have something their that would work for you, maybe not the cheapest but usually local.
 
i went to the container store last night and found exactly what i needed and actually, they were only 1.50 each. pretty cheap for what i got. it's a ridgid acrylic box with a small lid on it that fit the brushes perfectly (they had a dozen or so different sizes and colors). kindof an annoying store go into, seeing as i could have walked out of there spending $100 if i wanted to organize my shop, but i decided 4 clear boxes was my limit. [:D]
