clear or white decal paper

is there a difference in the two? I have some clear that i printed a decal on. it had some light blue and yellow in it, but when I went to put it on a black pen blank, you couldn't see any of it. it looked good against the white background of the paper, but not the pen blank. Should I use clear when its against a light colored black and white against a dark blank?

Yes, light color base uses clear decal and dark color base uses white decal.

I use the clear decal paper. With white decal paper, you have to cut out the design or letters exactly or the white background shows.

Ok, Racer, but if it's a dark colored blank, the fainter lines simply won't show up .... ?

Depending on the image, you may have to use white. Inkjet printers simply cannot print white.

I usually clear over my decal paper with CA glue and i never have issues with the paper showing up.
