To clear cast a tube with a paper ink jet print image, what is the best way to go get it to stick to the tube? If glue, what kind? Casting in PR.

I have done a few that way and I used the craft stick glue for glueing the paper to the tube. Then I used a small brush and brushed a little of the resin over top of it just before casting.I also use a pressure pot.I have had good luck with this method so far.

I would use either a small amount of epoxy or either ca. either one it needs to sit a day or two to allow it to gas off and not release any gasess in the blank.

I think this question fits well here. If you use CA to seal a decal on a tube, will it turn cloudy when turning or finishing from heat?

No sir. Only if to much accelerator is used at a close range or a large amount of moisture is present. Just a spritz of CA from 2-3 feet works well...but that is JMHO.

Look in the paper isle at your local big box office store Avery etc, have a vinyl bumper sticker paper, they have clear films with adhesive and with out, cling film is the with out. The have adhesive sticker paper up to 8½x11. At some hobby shops you can get the water slide decal paper and the spray clear coating it takes some time for the numerous coats and drying in between coats to make water slide decals.

I use Mod Podge to glue the paper to the tube. Then again I use 32# photo paper. Let it dry at least a day or better 2 then I give a coat of CA to seal the edges and seam than let dry a day or 2 then cast with PR.

Every one is going to give you a different answer. There are so many variables there is no step by step each situation is different.

Good Luck have fun.
