I need to order some cigar pencil kits for an order that I have received for some pen & pencil sets. I was planning to get them from Jimmy in Hawaii. Then I saw the messages about all of the problems with the cigar pen kits. Does the same problem with fitting of the components apply to his pencil kits? Is there a suggestion of another source with no known issues. Thanks in advance for any assistance. Jim.
 
I would check with Wood -N- Whimsies, Arizona Sil, Bear Tooth Woods and there are a couple of Canadian companies as well. At least you know the platings and fit will be good from there.
 
I just made a couple of chrome cigar pencils I got from Ernie at Beartooth Woods. Plating was exceptional and parts fit great! Of all the Cigar type kits I think the ones made by Berea are the best....JMHO
