I cut about 60 blanks from the yew tree, some are dry enough to make a pen.
The churchill kit was the target for a nice knot in a blank.
Drilling was not easy and was done very slow.
The plastic parts of the kit had to be glued into the tubes, spilled a little glue on the ring. grrrrrr
Looks nice anyway.
