I finished the second blank. The coupler is adapted to the design, some changes made.
The cap was stuck on the mandrell and i had to make a jig to get it off. But then it went well. here it is and i'm happy with it.

Splendid work Peter. . You have a lot of beautiful elements combined here. Your end finials with the visible 5 sided segmenting is wonderful. I really appreciate how you have taken several concepts and made your own version of them. Shape, materials, segmenting - all work well.
