Hello Folks. Thank you for your concern regarding the earthquakes. I'm sorry to not check in until now but I have been away camping (in Canada)....no cell phones, computers..nothing. We called to see if our house was still standing and found out the earthquake was only a 4.3 in our area. So, all is well. Thanks again!

Chris; Where in Canada were you camping? Banff??? I like to go there skiing in the winter. It's one of my favorite places to ski!

No, not Banff. I'm originally from Victoria on Vancouver Island so we borrowed my parents camping rig and were up on Quadra Island with a bunch of friends and all their fifth wheels and other "ginormous" camping vehicles. Certainly a far cry from "tenting it".:wink:

Either or........Typhoon season is fast approaching so I'm sure we'll be getting stirred up, too.

Haha... No, there is pretty good camping in Japan, too, especially up on the north island of Hokkaido.
