Cholla Skeleton Bottle Stoppers

I stopped by the desertrats place the other day and he gave me a piece of Cholla Skeleton to play with, (Thanks John :biggrin it was to big for pens so I made two bottle stoppers for my coffee bar bottles. They were cast with Red Alumilite and White Pearl powder, sanded to 600 and have a CA/BLO finish then buffed.

Those are really beautiful! I think the bottom one is my favorite.

Do those kits work pretty well? I've been thinking about getting some because they are so cheap.

They are very simple, The dowel glues in to the bottom of the stopper the only issue I had was that sometimes the rubber stopper slipped off so a little dab of clear silicone on the inside of the cup has taken care of it so far.
