cholla skeleton blank

I have some cholla skeleton pen blanks. I have not attempted these before. Any advice? I wanted to dye some epoxy and use it to fill in the gaps of the blank. Would resin work better? If I use resin, should I insert the brass tube first? I would greatly appreciate any advice.

Yes you can do that or you can cast them in rasin.if you use dyed epoxy you will need to put the brass tube in it.and then fill square the ends with a sander.
