Chipping up acrylic intentionally

So I've built up a little collection of alumilite blocks of different colors from leftover poured resin from making blanks. I was thinking of trying to find an effective way to crush or chip them up into small pieces to then recast into a new blank that looks like there's little chips or flakes in it. kind of like this one http://assets.rockler.com/media/cat...3525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/3/4/34484-01-1000.jpg
Any suggestions?

Use a 1" to 2" diam. iron pipe approx. 4" long with a cap. Put your pieces in and with a steel rod and hammer crush away. The pipe will keep the pieces contained and you can go as small as you want. I did this with some true stone I wanted to crush for filler on a piece I turned.
 
I tried an old small food processor before posting haha no luck! The pipe method sounds like a good idea...
