Chess pen from Woodturningz

I picked up a couple of the Shawshank blanks and was thinking about using one with the Chess fountain pen from Woodturningz.com (probably gunmetal since they don'thave gold). I've liked everything I've picked up from them so far, but has anyone ever turned this kit. The blanks are scarce so it's a one and done, and I don't want to have issues.

I'm working one right now, but it's the RB in Black/satin chrome. Well, reworking as I wasn't happy with the first effort. Kit seems decent enough.

I haven't turned any of their chess pens, but have made several other Woodturningz pens. I've liked all of them.

Well just went online to order and found out they do not have the fountain pen conversion kit in to match any of the pens (only antique brass and antique pewter) and no word of when they will get any in
