She still needs to be buffed out but this is what Kentucky Cherry looks like turned.
She is part of the new "Thin Line" weighing in at 22 oz's

lovely, Gary.. great turning..skinny walls may be all the rage, but I always feel they will shatter if dropped or banged into something (or crushed in the box on the way to a show) Too old to change my thinking I guess..but again lovely work
 
Damn, I almost appropriated that chunk of wood when we were up there last week guarding the burls and stuff. :eek:

BTW, you could make it 8-9-10 ounces lighter if you left off some of the heavy finishing.

In retrospect, it is a very nice hollow turning. I like the workmanship very much. Ya done great as always! :biggrin:
