This will be my lot in life for a little while. I need to rough out 40 Cherry bowls. And then turn them all to finish by Mother's Day.
The blanks have been sitting in the shop since August and they are down to about 15-16 percent moisture. I think a little over a month bagged inside the house and they should be ready for twice turning.

Interesting - the last few years I have set a personal goal of 100 bowls for the local Empty Bowls initiative. I started roughing out for this year just today. It's a different kind of turning.
Yes, you are correct. I try to stay with the same basic concept when I do a bunch like this. If I rough out a bowl a certain way for a certain shape to come... by the time I get back around to it. If forget what I was thinking of doing.
