Thanks, Rohn, for your comments. I was just playing around with a hole saw and to see what patterns I could come up with, so chess board is coincidental.

Mark, I found life somewhat easier cutting the pattern on the scroll saw instead of the hole saw. Now that I know that, I will persevere with a couple more.
