I've been making a few of these Executives lately. It seems like a solid little pen and uses the Parker refill.

Here's one that came out quite nicely (IMHO) in chechen burl.

Now that's a looker! Very nice Tony!! The burl turned out gorgeous!

Are the Executives selling for you? We always seemed to have a bit of a hard time with them.

That's a very nice pen. The wood is quite stunning.

I've never worked with the executive kit. Is the nib section all one piece?

Yes, it is. There are two press fit pieces - the top includes the clip.

I've been wanting to turn my own writing end (nib? ) for one with a matching finial but have some other things to get out of the way first.

I always liked the Executive kit personally and now I'm a fan of chechen burl as well. Thats a fine piece of work there.

That's exactly why I was asking lol. That would look great if the black piece was replaced by matching piece of burl.
