Well wow what a day already and its not even 12:00 yet. Sorry for bad pics but had to share right away no time to focus! What great guys and a great trade I believe all parties are happy and going to be doing very creative great works coming up in the future.

1st wow my first pen from another turner I am stoked and if I knew how cool that made me feel I would of traded the laser just for this.

2nd 1 reason to pass my laser on was to make room. Look at what those 2 did to my shop! hahahahahaha so much for room.

3rd but not last thanks so super much for the IAP forum and I will be doing something for the forum as soon as I get settled and going here!

Ok I better get going on a clean up and yet another redo working of the shop.

Cindy! You are so correct in everything you say in your post! Thanks to IAP life in the shop has become much brighter and way more creative. But I am not sure thoose two put the extra spare shop time in the boxes. I am still looking perhaps between some wood or something. Haha

Well.. I just made it back to the shop.. and is my back angry!

It wants sleep, and it wants it now!

.. time to go empty the truck

I'm stoked, can't wait to get things set up and try out a new tool.
It was good to meet you (and the cookies were great!) and I'm happy
you like the goodies ,too. I was afraid we brought you too many duplicates.

More later..

I am getting organized from all the boxes slowly. But here is the new casting area where much of the amazing ingredients where found in the boxes.

I just got home from helping Charlie get the laser off of the rental truck. We did a carpet cleaning Friday morning. Came back Friday afternoon and got the rental truck. I helped load the heavy equipment and came home to rest. Ended up digging more stuff out for Karin from my stash. We left Friday night from Vermont at 11:30 Pm and drove all night. We got to Karin's at 7:15 in the morning. No lights so we killed a litle time and called her at 8:15. We showed up at 8:30 and visited and got operating tips on the laser. Unloaded Karin's treasure and wrestled the laser aboard with Karin and the baker's help. Robbie? Got fresh baked cookies and headed for home. Hit Vermont after 7pm and headed for Charlie's in New Hampshire to unload the laser. It is time to sleep. We had fun Karin.

.. and I found all sorts of stuff that didn't make it into the truck, got left
behind, some even got left in the truck!
You've got some more stuff coming.. we can't have you looking that
organized. It's bad for the rest of us.

So super glad to have met you both plan on a great new friendship and great contacts. "Ronnie" is thrilled you loved her cookies ans was pleased to share with you both. I am so glad to hear all went well on your warp speed trip home. All is well here shop is getting back together Yes there is almost a sense or being organized in here. Almost. This shop may look small but wow can it take a load of great goods and still have room left over.

From the looks of your shop, you've mastered the art of organizing vertical, too.
I tend to keep things below eye level, so I don't take full advantage of the space.

Found some manuals that I was supposed to give you, more blanks that I thought
went in the box, and something else that I just thought you should have.
Found the original tool post for the metal lathe. Shouldn't need it now, as yours has
the quick change tool post, but I'll ship it.

What happened to your shop? You put all the tools outside?

I got as far as clearing some space for the computer and running
the internet connection so I can do my searches from the same place
that I print. Got some duct work and more air lines so I can vent the
air out the window. Going to build a box for the air mover and compressor
and make a removable window frame with a gate on it. Should work out
great.

Just need to get a couple of 900 lb gorillas to help me get the laser
up the stairs.

Well not sure about how many more years of monkey climbing to get this or that I have in me but as long as I do I will keep climbing away up down on this hope the wheels dont fly out from under me here and there. hahaha...

Be careful that laser weighs a ton damn I thought taking it out of the first truck was a task wow getting in the budget was more so. the stairs sound a nightmare. but when up there I asume it will be a great thing until you outgrow it and want a 60 watt or something. haha...

I am looking around and have a few things to pop in the mail for you as well. odds and ends and stuff.
