I picked up some color shifting chameleon mica powder to use with some left over liquid diamonds resin that I had sitting around. I have to say that I am pretty excited to get this into a pen shape and see what it looks like. Has anyone else played around with these powders?

This particular one shifts from orange > blue > purple depending on how the light hits it.




 
I have made a number of pens using color shift mica but they have all been clear cast with the mica applied to the tubes. It is unique, interesting stuff.

Penache - custom cast, wire and color shift mica +

This one I did the wire differently. It is floating above the tube instead of flat against it. Difficulty was several levels above what I have been doing. Comments, criticism and questions welcome.
