Hi,

As you may know I'm selling some Olivewood, some people have requested that I provide some certificate, but I'm at loss to how it should look. If anyone has an example that he can send me a picture of, I would be grateful.

Suggestions for what should be written on such a certificate (not from existing certificates) are also quite welcome.

I'm planing to print mine on quality paper, and maybe provide small stickers to put on the product itself.

Thanks

I agree with Alan, make it to the point. I know my customers love to know where it came from, that is was harvested from trimmings (going to assume what you are selling is that way). A little history of it is also nice.

This is something that I made up that might give you some ideas. It was all done so it would fit on a business card, which is what I've seen a lot of the certificates on.

And this is a sticker that comes with a lot of the blanks.

Both of these should be able to be done inexpensively and the cards you could probably do at home on your computer. Hope this helps.

The stickers are a proprietary one from the company of Bethlehem Olive Woods. I wouldn't advise using one like it, but you could make a design of your own.

Wow! great job, I think I'm gonna steal it [8D], looking at the hebrew source of bible, it would seem that the correct translation should be "I am like a fresh/vigorous olive..." But I understand that this is from the official english translation, so who am I to argue...

Do you think I should include some text in hebrew?

Thanks!
BTW: what about your question in the email?

I have received that yellow sticker from two sources BOW and Holy Land Market which I am told are two different companies. I really hope that they are as the latter and I have had issues rearding the size of blanks that they advertised as 3/4" and they were barely 5/8". I have never had any problems with products from Diane at BOW. Your certificate looks great.

I would make a certificate that is unique to yourself and your company. I think that would make for a good marketing tool. As far as some Hebrew text, I'd include it only if you translate it. I wouldn't have a clue what it would say/mean otherwise. But, I do think you may be on to something neat with that.

The certificate I posted is one that I made so feel free to use it however you want. The round sticker is a scan of an olive wood blank that I have. I bought it at Woodcraft.
